Our Big Summer Beach Day!

The year our annual Big Summer Get Together had a little bit of a shakeup, due to us sadly being unable to have our usual family get together. However, this definitely did not stop us having someone of the best days at Grosvenor House yet!
The day began with traditional games out in our gardens, such as Hook-A-Duck, Ring Toss and Crochet. We were lucky enough to have the sunshine on our side too. We enjoyed time together outside with a cocktail or two from our Tiki Bar. The fun didn’t stop there, as we collected our Chip Shop dinner fresh from Adams Bay!
We were able to sit outside and tuck into our fish & chips whilst being sat by our ever own ‘beach’. We created our beach with the help of Breedon Ltd, who kindly gifted us a tonne of sand! With the music and cocktails flowing in the background we laughed and reminisced together whilst making sandcastles on the beach.

We feel it is an important part of care, that our residents are involved in regular activities, it is great for their wellbeing and mental health.
