Comfortable, Personalised Living Spaces

Each person staying at Grosvenor House enjoys their own spacious, tastefully decorated bedroom. Every room features comfortable furniture and climate-controlled air systems that maintain a safe and steady temperature throughout the year.

For many of the people we support, being too hot or too cold can cause discomfort or health concerns. Fortunately, our class-leading climate system helps us avoid that, providing true comfort at all times.

We encourage everyone to bring in familiar items, photographs and personal touches to help their rooms feel just like home. Our care team works closely with each individual and their family to ensure the space meets both their needs and preferences.

Everyday Living That Feels Like Home

Our shared spaces are designed to encourage friendship, calm, and positive daily routines. Whether it’s enjoying a morning coffee with family in our cafe, taking part in arts and crafts in one of our activity rooms, or relaxing in our garden, every part of the home helps those we support to feel connected and at ease.

We also offer a range of unique facilities that you won’t find in most care homes. This includes our Butterfly Tearoom, a hydrotherapy bath, sensory rooms, and communal lounges equipped with music, games, and memory-based activities.

If you’re looking for a place where comfort and companionship are part of everyday life, Grosvenor House is the right fit for your family.

Beautiful Outdoor Spaces to Relax and Reconnect

Landscaped gardens and natural countryside views surround Grosvenor House, providing the people we support with the opportunity to enjoy fresh air and peaceful moments throughout the day.

Our outdoor space has been designed with accessibility in mind, featuring smooth pathways, raised flower beds and paved patios that are ideal for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.

From gardening sessions and barbecues to simply sitting in the sunshine with a cup of tea, our outdoor spaces are a treasured part of life here. You’ll often find our pygmy goats enjoying a walk, or our hand-raised chickens enjoying being petted.

A reminder that life at Grosvenor House is filled with joyful, memorable moments.

Freshly Prepared Meals, Every Day

We are proud to be one of the few local care homes where every meal is freshly prepared from scratch. This includes our homemade bread, made daily in our kitchen.

Food at Grosvenor House is about much more than nutrition; it’s a time to connect, share and enjoy.

Our in-house chef creates well-balanced, seasonal menus based on each person’s preferences and dietary needs. Whether it’s a favourite comfort meal or something new to try, we ensure food is something residents can look forward to.

We also cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including soft food and texture-modified diets. Our chef is dedicated to providing excellent food and nutrition, as part of our commitment to serving fresh, high-quality meals, which is one of the cornerstones of our care.

Supporting Health, Wellbeing and Community

While our facilities offer comfort and enjoyment, they are also designed to provide high-quality care and health support. The people we support have access to quiet spaces, therapy tools like our Omni Projector, and rooms designed for both group activities and private reflection.

Our team regularly hosts seasonal parties, fitness sessions, baking afternoons, music events, and reminiscence therapy sessions. Many of these activities take place in our social café, games area or beautiful garden spaces.

Family and friends are always welcome to join us, and we provide private areas for visits and celebrations.

Whether it’s a peaceful space for rest or an active area for connection, our environment is flexible to support each person’s lifestyle and stage of life.
