We Are Business Of The Year!
We are pleased to announce that Grosvenor House Care Home was crowned “Business of the Year” at the DN21 Business Awards. We could not be more proud of our wonderful team and residents that made this award possible.
The awards, which were held at Thonock Park in Gainsborough, brought together the best and brightest businesses from the DN21 postcode area. Of course, we were over the moon to be nominated and to spend time with many of other lovely local businesses.
A Night of Recognition and Celebration
The DN21 Business Awards are designed to celebrate the achievements of local enterprises across various sectors. With 12 categories ranging from “Best New Business” to “Green Business of the Year,” the awards recognise businesses that support innovation, sustainability, community engagement, and overall excellence.
For us, winning the “Business of the Year” award is a huge achievement as it marks our contribution to the community and the care industry. The winner must:
“Demonstrate a strong contribution to their area of industry and set an example to other businesses of hard work, profitability, strong management and sustainability. The business will make a strong contribution towards its staff development and use of local supply chains.”
Our team had a great time celebrating, laughing, and cheering for all of the deserving nominees. We’re glad we weren’t in charge of picking winners, as it would have been incredibly difficult.
A Double Honor
In addition to winning “Business of the Year,” we were highly commended in the “Green Business of the Year” category alongside Josa-AC. We are currently working together on an innovative air conditioning project, about which we will share more information soon.
The collaboration between Josa-AC and us is a brilliant example of how local businesses can collaborate to achieve significant environmental goals. Our joint project will enhance our care home’s facilities and help us meet our commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Without all of this support we would not be able to give the exceptionally high level of care to our residents as we currently do. We love being part of our local community, which is another reason we are proud to have won this award.
